Rodney Bay Village, Gros-Islet

Hotels, popular restaurants, a huge mall and the only casino on the island surrounds this Natural Bay, which attracts hundreds of visitors. The Rodney Bay Marina located in the immediate vicinity, is one of the Caribbean's premier Yachting Centers. Rodney Bay is about 15 mins. North of Castries.

Soufriere

This is a town on The West Coast of St.Lucia. The town has an approximate population of 7,000 and was originally The Capital of St.Lucia. Soufriere is very dependent on Tourism, as The iconic Pitons are just south of the town and there are several other attractions viz. The only drive-in-volcano in the world, The Sulphur Springs, St. Lucia Rainforest, Tet Paul nature Trail, to name a few.

Vieux-Fort

St.Lucia's second largest town is home to The Hewanorra International Airport. From The Moule a Chique Penninsular, the island's southernmost tip, one can see much of St.Lucia to the North and The island of St. Vincent to the South. This is where the waters of the clear Caribbean Sea blend with those of the deeper blue Atlantic Ocean.

Castries

The Capital, Castries is a busy commercial city of about 65,000 people that wraps around a sheltered Bay. The charm of Castries lies in its liveliness, rather than architecture as several colonial buildings were destroyed by four fires between 1796 & 1948. Places of interest in the capital are The Derek Walcott Square named after St.Lucian Nobel Laureate, Sir Derek Walcott & The Cathedral Of The Immaculate Conception, which was built in 1897. The interior walls of The Cathedral are decorated with colorful murals, reworked in 1985 just before Pope John Paul's 11 visit, by St.Lucian artist Sir Dunstan St.Omer. The Church is open daily for public viewing as well as Religious Services.
